Aventine Resources is an emerging gold-copper exploration company assembling a highly prospective land position across two of Western Australia’s most compelling regions – the Paterson Province and the East Pilbara.
The Company has a clear pathway to acquire approximately 700km² of underexplored tenure from Greatland Resources (AIM; ASX:GGP), strategically located near Greatland’s Telfer gold mine (3.2Moz Au) and the Havieron gold-copper project (4.1Moz Au). This provides strong geological validation and proximity to established infrastructure.
The Paterson Province is recognised as a premier geological province hosting world-class gold and copper deposits. Aventine is leveraging this proven mineral endowment to target new discovery opportunities in a region that has and continues to deliver significant exploration and production success.
Greatland Resources is highly supportive of this transaction, taking a minimum 10% shareholding and Board position, as well as collaborating with Aventine to provide access to existing logistics, infrastructure and technical knowledge.
The partnership will include ongoing exploration support, continued access to site infrastructure and logisitcs to reduce capital expenditure, and Aventine assuming Greatland’s JV positions in its Paterson Province tenements Budjidowns and Basel with Rio Tinto (51%/49% respectively).
Greatland is a well-established operator in the region, with ongoing mining at Telfer and a recently published feasibility report for Havieron.
If successful, this large-scale, high-quality landholding positions Aventine to pursue meaningful discoveries and create long-term shareholder value as it advances towards an ASX listing.
